Join Tom for
a five-day certification
training and apply the
diagnostic power of the
Enneagram to transform
yourself and others.
Come experience an in-depth
perspective on the Enneagram
as a dynamic active system.
The goal of this training is
to produce lasting, positive
change in your clients and
yourself. The focus will be
on building skills, giving
you specific insights, tools
and practices to use
effectively in your personal
and professional life.
The training will establish
the Enneagram as a solid
guide to meaningful change
and personal evolution by
merging it with other
powerful disciplines. If you
already have Enneagram, NLP
or Ericksonian training,
these five days will deepen
your understanding of all
three subjects.
Tom will help you use the
Enneagram to powerfully
evoke innate strengths as
well as move quickly and
directly to the core of a
problem. You will approach
the low side expressions of
someone’s Enneagram style as
a set of defenses – a
self-created subjective
reality – and the high side
as an array of resources and
talents existing naturally
within each individual.
You will also explore the
adaptive advantages of
personality styles,
understanding them as
unconscious strategies for
ordering reality that serve
a variety of useful
purposes. The training will
reveal how someone’s most
dysfunctional, defensive
expression of their
Enneagram style makes
perfect sense when you start
to understand what it is
designed for.
The Certification training
will weave together lecture,
exercises, and
demonstrations of changework
with group experiences to
create a rich tapestry of
insights and applications.
You will also receive
extensive handouts, as well
as video and audio support
materials.
Tom will demonstrate a
number of methods most
helpful to different
Enneagram styles, but since
the best way to learn to do
changework is to experience
it yourself, there will be
many opportunities to be
both client and coach. You
are encouraged to bring one
personal goal to fulfill by
the end of the training.
This five-day training is
open to anyone with prior
knowledge of the Enneagram
and a desire to change
themselves and help others.
It will most benefit
participants who have
already applied the
Enneagram personally or
professionally.
Topics will include:
o The sensory
strategies and subjective
qualities of each style
o Enneagram “growth
arcs”: How each style
typically grows and
changes
o The secondary gains
of Enneagram defenses -
why we cling to old
patterns
o What motivates each
Enneagram style to change
o Techniques for
establishing rapport with
different styles
o The 27 Instinctual
Subtypes: their
motivations, talents and
advantages
o The Five Elements
of Change: A model of
changework as applied to
the Enneagram
o Feel Good, Feel Bad
and Feel Nothing defense
mechanisms
o Enneagram “resource
maps” - Identifying and
maximizing the built-in
strengths, talents,
resources of each
Enneagram style,
connecting points and
Subtypes
o Parental Points -
the influence of inherited
Enneagram styles
o Body reading and
nonverbal cues
o Developing
sensitivity as a
practitioner and
communicator
o Working effectively
with critical voices
o Using humor,
metaphor and therapeutic
stories
o Plans of
action and customized
practices for each style

What
People Say
About Tom's
Work
"This
was a rich, informative
and enjoyable program. I
can find uses for the
tools in all aspects of
my life."
- Wayne Gerber,
consultant
"Tom's in depth
knowledge, presence,
timing, grace and humor
are magical to
experience. What a
gift."
- Susan Nordyke,
instructor, Vocational
Counseling
"I really appreciated
learning about the
'resources' of each wing
and thinking about
sensory modalities in
terms of each point. I
also appreciated seeing
NLP in context."
- Patrick
Wardell, Social
Worker/Educator
"People gather. Tom
talks. Things happen. At
first it's hard to see
the relationship between
the talk and the
happenings, but later,
it is clear that this
talk is eclectically
informed and
idiosyncratically
brilliant, thus
producing unexpected
changes in people open
to change."
- Mary Nelson, Spiritual
Director
"This
workshop is a must for
anyone who wants to
combine their knowledge
and experience of NLP
and Ericksonian Hypnosis
with the Enneagram."
- Julian Wick,
Pastor/Professional
Mediator
"A
very powerful learning
experience. Deep process
and content, delivered
on target with humor."
- Bill Faust,
Organizational
Development and
creativity consultant
"As
a long-time practitioner
of the Enneagram and a
relatively new NLP
student, I found that
the opportunity to work
with both disciplines in
a relaxed spacious
format was invaluable.
Tom Condon provides a
valuable service to all
students of human
effectiveness."
- Courtney Behm,
Management Advisor and
Personal Coach
"Tom's
adroit integration of NLP
and Ericksonian hypnosis
has been invaluable to my
own understanding and
application of the
Enneagram. As has been my
past experience and is
true once again, Tom's
knowledge, skill and
manner added new
dimensions to a richly
complex subject. Anyone
who has the opportunity to
work with Tom, either
one-on-one or in a
workshop format will be
greatly enriched by the
experience. I cannot
recommend him highly
enough."
